What’s the best HD Camcorder on a budget?

Your only option is to record via firewire as USB cannot keep up with the continious transfer rate needed, I think you are going to end up with dropped frames. The problem is going to be getting a camcorder with firewire, at that price range and HD as well. Unless you go for secondhand I think you are going to be out of luck. I know the price of camcorders have come down but not that much.
So in you budget you are going to need to use USB, but streaming HD Via USB, I dont know if its going to give you a good result, Never tried it myself, alway use firewire.
